From the cool sounds of jazz and bossa nova to the fiery rhythms of Spanish guitar, Robert McNamara plays it all. A performer, educator and author, Robert has played all over the Central Coast, including over 9 years at the Bay Club at the Inn at Spanish Bay, Quail Lodge and Carmel Valley Ranch Resort, Post Ranch Inn, Highlands Inn, La Mirada, The Lodge at Pebble Beach, La Playa Hotel, Stonepine, and the Tinnery, among many others.
He is also on the music faculty at Monterey Peninsula College, Santa Catalina School, and Robert Louis Stevenson Upper School.

Robert is the Director of the Monterey Peninsula Academy of Music. He is a member of the Music Faculties of Monterey Peninsula College, Santa Catalina School, and Robert Louis Stevenson Upper School. He performs extensively in the area and also takes part in the Cultural Ambassador program for the US State Dept. He has performed and taught in Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Morocco, Colombia, and recently became the first American musician to perform in Libya in the last 30 years.
